January, 2007
West Cliff, Santa Cruz, CA

I have been listening to "The Prairie HomeCompanion."  The theme is jokes and it is non stop for an hour.  For instance, Why did Jesus go to Japan Town?  Because he loves Me So.  Imagine this corny joke venue for a whole delightful hour.

Whoa, it is February.  Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana.  My very own favorite corny joke.  My grandson still goes "Huh?" when I hit him with that one.  He is ten and on the cutting edge of growing up.

I was going to post all of these photos on one page but it eventually became clear that one page would be impractical.  As a compromise, I have settled on THREE pages.  I have also changed my page design style in my never ending pursuit of making the page design, interesting as well.

Just as an explanation, I have photos from the entire month of January to post so sit back, grab a cup of coffee and prepare to be dazzled (some more.)

The Capitola Beach

Various Hiking Trails
Redwood City Shoreline Park

All of the pictures in this series were shot with my digital SLR Canon EOS 20D camera and one of two lens: a panoramic zoom lens; EFS 17-85mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM and my reach out and touch somebody zoom telephoto lens the; EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM.  (The EOS 20D camera has a 1.6 lens multiplication factor so the 300mm lens really looks like a 480mm lens, zoom wise.)
