Sunset at the Valley of Fires (Indian Name for camp site.)

But first, I went to a New Mexico  Desert/Zoo.  Ho hum.  I did take a few photos though.

UgggLyyy well maybe not to another like kind.  Click on the photo for a full view.

A prongless pronghorn antelope.

Wolf!  Click on the photo for a full sized version.

Lunch with the Griswalds.  Prairie Dogs are just Gophers on steroids.

This is a National Park also in New Mexico called "The Valley of Fires."

I'm camping again.  $9 a night but this night is free due to MLK.

This is a bad time of year for critters including me.  Lots of wind and cool weather not to mention 5K feet of elevation.  I have piled on the blankets and I do have an electric heater.

Driving through this area was like driving on the main island of Hawaii, lava everywhere on both sides of the road.

This store had a crazy display of mounted animals.  There were at least 30 mounted heads on display.
