Nano, in addition to being a friend, was a lot closer to being a father figure to me then the person genetically assigned to me to do that function or the person assigned to do that function by right of marriage (as would be my stepfather.)  Thank you Peter

I have lots of pictures of Nano of which I have posted a select few.  Please enjoy.  My attempt was to show Nano living.

Also, here is his official obituary as lifted from the San Jose Mercury News.

Peter J. Cusimano:
Peter passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sept. 1, 2007.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary, and his two daughters, Elizabeth Munoz and Kathleen Huffman, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Peter was born on March 10, 1925 in Jamestown NY. He served in the Navy during WWII.  In 1953, Peter moved his family to San Jose, and was employed by IBM as a Mfg Quality Engineer.  He retired from IBM after 30 years, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Peter also volunteered his expert cooking skills at the Italian American Heritage Foundation (IAHF).  Following private burial services, a life celebration memorial will be held at the IAHF on Sept. 16, at 3PM for all friends and family.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.

From what I have heard, Peter was diagnosed with advanced lung and other cancers, living a few short months after his diagnosis.  Between then and when he passed away, he was courageous and adamant about how his affairs should be handled.  Good for you Peter.  A star to take to heaven.
