Peer Health Education's Ethnic & Cultural Track Presents:

HIV AIDS in Black and Brown

Why does HIV/AIDS have such high numbers in the African American and Latino community in the United States?  Over 50% of the new cases of HIV are among African Americans.  Latinos are a largest minority group, and their HIV rates are increasing at an alarming rate.  Come join us as we have a community dialog on risk factors, what we can do to empower themselves, and myths versus facts of AIDS/HIV.  Free food will be provided!!!

Event time:  5 - 6:30PM

Place:  MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center

There will also be  free  HIV testing at the Student Health Center on December 1st (9 am – 12 pm) and 2nd (1 pm – 4 pm).
