Ewww!  I haven't had this many skeeter bites since camping in Tecate, Mexico.
I think I must of provided food for at least three generations of mosquito's.
I keep reminding myself to be careful and not scratch them.
When I was a kid, I did that very thing and I got a good case of blood poisoning.

The river, with barely perceptible current, just like LA.

Such a huge bee feasting on such a small flower.  It appears to be sitting on it but in reality, it is hovering with very little weight on the flower itself.  The wings are stop motioned by my fast lens.

This guy was huge so I thought I would present it as huge.

You already know I love to photograph fungi.  Here are two more examples.

This fungus is weird.  It is firmly rooted to the soil but and it has puff ball lightness and characteristics, yet, this funny shape and color and texture.

More dragon fly's abound here.  I try to find different ones but after awhile, they all look alike.  Not really.  I must have shot 500 frames of Dragon Flies already.  This one is pretty, isn't it?

 Here's looking at ya!

This one would hover right in front of me.  Look Ma, no wings!  I really admire the way this dragon fly can accelerate to warp speed in an instant or come to a screeching halt in mid-air, in a dragon fly's heart beat.

Ain't this wierd?  Like suspended by a wire.

Just some odd grass with star shaped flowers!
Ta, Ta for now!
